Boardwalk Lower Update

Dear Boardwalk Lower Families,

We hope you are enjoying these final weeks of summer! As we look forward to the upcoming school year, we want to share a quick update regarding our beginning of the school plans.

The Boardwalk Administration team is currently working through the final details of our arrival and dismissal procedures, and we expect to send our plans to you by Friday, August 21st.

Dismissal Planning & PickUp Patrol

Bus routes are posted one week prior to school starting on the district website. School starts Aug 31, 2026 so you can expect these routes to be available August 24, 2026 at the latest. As soon as the routes are posted, the Boardwalk Lower Office will send an email for you to submit your dismissal plans in PickUp Patrol.  We anticipate emailing families for their dismissal plans on August 24th or 25th. 

Welcoming Our Students

As you talk with your students about the beginning of the school year, please reassure them that our entire staff is fully prepared to welcome all students. For the first week of school, all staff members will be strategically stationed throughout the school inside and out to assist students in finding their way. Classroom teachers will be at their doors greeting students as they arrive.

Furthermore, our Kindergarten students will be greeted on the first floor by their classroom teaching assistant and will walk to their classrooms together the first week.

We are incredibly excited to meet all of our students and ensure they have a smooth, successful, and positive first day of school on Aug 31, 2026. Please be sure to check your emails for updates in the coming days!
